LSU is off to a 3-0 start, but quarterback Joe Burrow doesn’t think the Tigers have reached their potential yet.

Burrow sees bigger things ahead for LSU’s offense.

“I think we’re about to take off as an offense,” Burrow said on Monday, according to Cody Worsham of LSUsports.net.

The Tigers beat Auburn, 22-21, on Saturday, building off their wins over Miami and Southeastern Louisiana with their biggest victory of the season so far. LSU has scored 22 or more points in all three of its games.

Burrow was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, but he still isn’t satisfied with his performance. He threw for 249 yards and a touchdown in the win over Auburn. Over three games, he has 540 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

“When you go 3-0, you can’t complain,” Burrow said, according to Brooks Kubena of The Advocate. “But I haven’t been completely happy with my play, and I’m going to get better.”

If Burrow continues to improve, that should help the Tigers build off their strong start to the season.

LSU will look to move to 4-0 when it hosts Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
