Dak Prescott may be a product of Mississippi State, but he clearly has supporters all over the SEC.

The best quarterback in Bulldogs history and arguably the top player to ever suit up in Starkville, Prescott has gotten off to a fast start during the exhibition slate of his rookie year in the NFL.

A fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys, his professional debut included 10-of-12 through the air and a pair of touchdown tosses against the Los Angeles Rams. Just one week later battling the Miami Dolphins, he connected on 12-of-15 throws and recorded four total TDs — two passing, two rushing.

Writing about Prescott’s early success in the pros this week, I was amazed at how many well wishes he received not just from Mississippi State fans, but from fans of every program in the conference.
