Following their road win over Kentucky on Saturday, Mississippi State remains the top-ranked team in the nation for the third straight week.

The Bulldogs (7-0, 4-0) picked up five more first place votes in the Amway Coaches Poll, going from 36 votes to 41. No. 2 Florida State received 21 first place votes. In the AP Top 25 Poll, Mississippi State picked up three first place votes, benefitting from Ole Miss’ loss to LSU (the Rebels received three first place votes last week). However, MSU’s lead over Florida State shrunk to 33 points as Florida State gained some ground.
