It’s all on the line for the Missouri Tigers this week against the Arkansas Razorbacks, as the Tigers look to clinch a spot in the SEC Championship with a win.

Before the two teams kickoff in the first edition of the Battle Line Rivalry, let’s take a look at the good and bad numbers for the Tigers.

The Good

2.0: In all 11 games this season, Missouri has racked up at least two sacks in each game. The team leads the SEC with 38 total sacks.

3: After struggling in SEC play early on, quarterback Maty Mau has turned things around as of late. Last week’s two touchdown, zero interception performance against Tennessee was his third such performance in his last four games against SEC opponents.

1: One game separates Missouri and a repeat trip to the SEC Championship. Thanks to the Tigers’ five-game conference winning streak, they have put themselves in one-game, win-or-go-home scenario against the Hogs on Friday.

The Bad:

2: Missouri has been incredible away from Columbia, Mo., winning 10 straight on the road. However, this season home field advantage hasn’t been much of an advantage for the Tigers. They’ve suffered two home losses already, one by 34 points to UGA and a stunning loss to Indiana.

324: Arkansas’ offensive line is the biggest in college football and even bigger than all NFL teams with an average weight of 324 pounds. The Hogs will lean heavily on the run in hopes of neutralizing pass rushers Shane Ray and Markus Golden.

12: Missouri is the most penalized team in the SEC and the last two weeks haven’t been very good. The Tigers have committed 12 penalties in each of the last two games, a number that must improve moving forward if they want to compete with Alabama or Mississippi State in the SEC Championship, assuming they make it to Atlanta.
