The Missouri Tigers return from a bye week and travel to Texas A&M to take on the Aggies to commence their final three-game stretch to end the 2014 season. With three SEC games remaining, the Tigers are currently in first place in the SEC East and are looking to clinch their spot in the SEC Championship Game.

Let’s go inside Missouri’s numbers before Saturday night’s kickoff.

The Good

21: November wins under Gary Pinkel. Missouri’s has had great success in November with Pinkel as head coach. Three crucial conference games await the Tigers this month and they are hoping to have the same kind of success this season.

18.2: points allowed in conference play. Although Missouri’s play has been unspectacular at times this season, the defense’s performance, especially against SEC opponents, has been stellar. The Tigers rank third in the conference.

9: road game winning streak. The Tigers’ success on the road may be something Pinkel doesn’t want to talk about, but his team has been brutal to face when on the road, winning nine straight away from Faurot Field.

The Bad

329.6: passing yards per game for Texas A&M. The Aggies possess the conference’s leading passing attack, which is just coming off a 277-yard, four touchdown performance on the road against Auburn. Missouri’s secondary will be tested more so this weekend than likely any other opponent it’s faced this season.

3: SEC games left. Missouri still has three conference opponents to face, the most of any team in the SEC. The Tigers will probably have to win all three in order to have a repeat trip to Atlanta.

5: interceptions thrown by Maty Mauk against SEC opponents. The sophomore quarterback has turned a corner in recent weeks, not throwing a pick in his last two games, but with how he plays he’s always a high-risk at turning the ball over.
