As many football coaches will tell you, quality line play on both sides of the ball will likely result in a good chunk of wins.

Missouri is taking this axiom to heart. A third of their current recruiting class are listed as either offensive or defensive linemen. It appears as if head coach Barry Odom is truly making this a point of emphasis.

With two months until Signing Day, he’s not finished in trying to improve the lines within his football team.

Mizzou is currently hosting JUCO OT prospect Yasir Durant. Hailing from Arizona Western Community College, Durant is listed at 6-foot-7, 345 pounds. He committed and signed with San Diego State a season ago, but ultimately ended up at the junior college level.

A native of Philadelphia, Durant is a massive individual. He looks like the prototypical right tackle — although he’s capable of filling in at left tackle in a pinch.

With depth along the offensive line not overly great, landing Durant would be a big pickup for Odom and his staff.
