Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze are certainly having a good Sunday.

For the Rebels’ second commitment of the day, 3-star WR Demarcus Gregory pulled the trigger. In late April, Gregory listed four schools he was most interested in aside from Ole Miss: Florida, N.C. State, Tennessee and West Virginia, and the Rebels ultimately won out.

“It just felt like home,” Gregory told Rivals. “I love the place. It’s just best offense for a receiver. They have a great quarterback in Shea Patterson, a great coach in Coach Freeze and they play some top football in the best conference. They offered me at the end of my sophomore year and that relationship has always been there and now it’s going to continue.”

Although Ole Miss’ 2018 class got started slow, the Rebels are really starting to catch up. With Gregory’s commitment, Ole Miss is up to five commitments in this recruiting cycle.

The Duncan, South Carolina, native is rated as a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he’s rated as the country’s No. 75 WR and the state of South Carolina’s No. 5 overall player. Scoring a commitment from Gregory over the likes of Florida and Tennessee, among others, is a big-time get.

Ole Miss also scored a commitment from 3-star CB Bobby Wolfe earlier Sunday.
