The University of Alabama moved up into the top four of both major polls on Sunday, but was jumped by Oregon in the Associated Press Poll despite the Crimson Tide’s dramatic 20-13 overtime victory at LSU.

Alabama was third in the Amway Coaches Poll and remained fourth in AP version, with the vote total close in both. Seven points separated the teams in the coaches’ poll, with Oregon getting one first-place vote, while AP had the difference at eight points.

Both still had Mississippi State at No. 1 ahead of Florida State, with TCU fifth and Baylor sixth. The College Football Playoff Committee will update its rankings on Tuesday.

Alabama (8-1, 5-1 SEC) will host the top-ranked Bulldogs (9-0, 5-0) on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS), with ESPN announcing that its pregame College Gameday show will broadcast from Tuscaloosa.

Meanwhile, the computers that were used for the BCS rankings agree on very little this week.
