SEC Week 14 prop bets:

NICK MARSHALL’S NUMBERS AT ALABAMA

Options — Total offense: 200 yards or fewer; 250 or fewer; 300 or fewer; 351 or more

Projection: As a 9.5-point underdog in this year’s Iron Bowl, there’s one player for Auburn who can keep the Tigers in the game at Alabama: Nick Marshall. Coming off the worst rushing performance of his career during last week’s win over Samford, the senior quarterback’s ability to rebound is paramount to his team’s success.  The Crimson Tide’s defense against the run this season is 25 yards better than its next closest competitor in the SEC and Alabama’s only given up two touchdowns on the ground all season — fewest in the country by seven scores. Marshall will need an explosive outing to keep this one within single digits. That’s going to be a challenge.

SOUTH CAROLINA’S TOTAL OFFENSE AT CLEMSON

Options — 250 or fewer; 300 or fewer; 350 or more; 351 or more

Projection: Without question, Clemson’s defense this season is the best it has been during the Dabo Swinney era, flexing the nation’s stingiest unit on third down and yards allowed per game. What will Steve Spurrier do to try and combat the Tigers’ dominance on that side of the football? We’re sure he’ll think of something. The Head Ball Coach always does against the Tigers, winning five straight in the rivalry series. He’s also got a quarterback who has won in Death Valley before. Can Dylan Thompson repeat his 2012 performance?
