So far, so good.

The SEC went nearly undefeated against a variety of non-conference opponents during Week 1, which is a good first step toward reclaiming the reputation of being the premier conference in college football. Last year, the SEC went 48-7 during regular-season non-conference play. In bowl games, the SEC went 7-5.

We will be keeping track of how the SEC performs against non-conference opponents throughout the season. For now we start with a quick recap of the first week, and then look toward the future schedule.
