It’s a great time to be a member of the Southeastern Conference. From top-ranked teams to top-priced games, the SEC has consistently been home to some of college football’s premiere talent. As the season enters Week 9 Thursday night, four of the AP’s top-ranked schools are also among the TiqIQ Top 25’s 10 most expensive schools. This includes Ole Miss and Mississippi State, who have both seen a massive jump in season average at home on the secondary ticket market in recent weeks as they remain unbeaten.

According to TiqIQ, the most expensive SEC team on the secondary market is Georgia, who has experienced a slight increase in season average since last week’s win against Arkansas on the road. The average secondary price for UGA football tickets at home is now $228. With a No. 9 rank, the Bulldogs will play two more home games at Sanford Stadium in the regular season against Auburn and Charleston Southern. Georgia vs Auburn football tickets for a November 15 game is currently $481.23 on the secondary market, 111% above the season average, with a get-in price of $182.

Ole Miss owns the second most expensive season average in the SEC while also holding down the No. 3 rank in college football. The average price for Ole Miss football tickets is $182 on the secondary market. The team’s most expensive game will be played against Mississippi State on November 29. That game is currently listed at $592.80 on the secondary market, 225% above season average, and a get-in price of $251.

Trailing Ole Miss closely as the third highest-priced team in the SEC during Week 9 is Alabama, whose season average at Bryant-Denny Stadium has wavered since the team fell to the Rebels on October 4. The average price for Alabama football tickets on the secondary market this season is now $181, up 6% from last week. The Crimson Tide is now ranked as the No. 4 school in the country, trailing Mississippi, Florida State and No. 1 ranked Mississippi State.

Alabama’s playoff hopes remain in jeopardy as the SEC West continues to house unbeaten teams in Miss State and Ole Miss. Like Georgia, Alabama’s most expensive remaining home game will be played against Auburn. Iron Bowl tickets currently have a secondary market average of $407.62 and a get-in price of $243.

The final Top 10-ranked SEC team that also owns a Top 10 secondary ticket average at home is Mississippi State, who has climbed to a No.1 ranking in the country and has the eighth most expensive season average in college football. The average secondary price for Mississippi State football tickets is $155, up 13% from last week. The most expensive remaining home game on the Mississippi State schedule will be against Arkansas on November 1, with the average price listed at $197.84 and a get-in price of $76.

The SEC will likely produce at least two playoff teams as unbeaten Ole Miss and Mississippi State remain atop the West Division. Florida State is also a threat to make another deep playoff push following their National Title season from a year ago. Georgia’s first-place honors in the East may also hold up as the final five weeks of the season play out. Anything can happen as the season draws on, however, and it remains to be determined what teams will still be around once the postseason begins on January 1.
