What Steve Spurrier said after Gamecocks' win over Tar Heels
Steve Spurrier said he was happy to get out of Charlotte with a win Thursday night, but there are many areas to improve in according to the Head Ball Coach.

Spurrier credits Sean Kelly. “You want me to brag on a punter, I’m bragging on ours.” Also had a tackle on the Kick-6 return.

Spurrier: Skai can pick the ball off. When you play cover 2, that middle linebacker has to cover a lot ground and he has his eyes on the QB.

What did you learn in game one? Spurrier: “We have a long way to go.” — SportsFromMyEyes (@JTyree704) September 4, 2015
Spurrier doesn’t know what Mitch said for the taunting penalty. “He must have said something or the ref wouldn’t have called it.”
