Texas A&M defeated South Carolina, 24-13, Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Aggies outscored the Gamecocks, 17-6, in the second half after facing a 7-7 tie through two quarters.

Quarterback Trevor Knight threw for 206 yards and an interception on 23 of 40 passing. Knight also recorded 84 yards and one touchdown on 12 rushing attempts.

Freshman tailback Trayveon Williams had 98 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries. The former four-star prospect found the end zone on a 49-yard run.

Starting defensive end Myles Garrett and wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones missed Saturday’s game recovering from injuries.
