Out of all 128 FBS head coaches, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin has the hottest seat.

At least that’s what the formula used by CoachesHotSeat.com says.

The website, which monitors the probability of coaches being fired by their institutions, lists three SEC coaches at the top of its list.

Sumlin is joined by Auburn’s Gus Malzahn near the top, which is to be expected given the Tigers’ disappointing run, but a surprise name holds the No. 2 slot.

Will Muschamp is rated as the No. 2 coach in the FBS before ever coaching a game for South Carolina.

That may not be realistic to say he’s on the hot seat from day one, but the formula which factors things like salary and career records simply indicates that he’s not a great bargain for what he’s brought to the table as a head coach to this point.

Here’s a look at how the SEC coaches stacked up in these 2016 rankings, and also where they ranked among the 128 FBS head coaches:

  1. Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M (No. 1)
