Former Texas A&M stars Von Miller and Johnny Manziel’s careers are both “up in the air,” but in very different ways.

One was named Super Bowl MVP. The other is likely to be released by his team in almost exactly one month.

However, Miller — who recorded 6 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, a pass defense and 2 QB hits in the Denver Broncos’ 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night — attempted to boost the spirits of Manziel.

According to 9News’ Mike Klis, Miller had this to say to his troubled fellow Aggies alum.

“My heart goes out to you, buddy. Come on, let’s get it right. Gig’em.”

Miller also posted this on Instagram late Sunday night while saying, “I Love you fam! Grind, get back to Johnny all the ags know and love, Grind bro, 2yrs ago they counted me out, 2yrs frm now you can do the same!! Support no matter what! #love @jmanziel2″

Manziel is currently dealing with the fallout surrounding an accusation from his ex-girlfriend, who said that he threatened to kill both her and himself in an altercation.

The Browns are expected to release Manziel at the official start of the NFL year on March 9.
