A camp superstar, Smith holds an impressive offer list, which includes seven SEC schools, Arizona State, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and Texas.
With four-star tight end Zarrian Holcombe (Humble, Texas) already a member of the ’15 class, the Aggies now can claim an impressive duo at the position, if both players eventually sign with the team.
Smith’s commitment gives Texas A&M a running total of 13 commitments for the 2016 class. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, the Aggies currently rank fifth in the SEC and 10th in the country.
