Most college football players probably dread playing Alabama, Nick Saban’s powerhouse program that has won four of the last seven national titles and is the favorite again this year.

Trevor Knight, however, thinks “it’s going to be a blast.”

Texas A&M’s senior quarterback said so Tuesday when he met with the media ahead of the No. 6 Aggies’ road showdown with the No. 1 Crimson Tide on Saturday. This colossal showdown on undefeated SEC West teams will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Alabama (7-0, 4-0) has breezed through its schedule with relative ease, most recently demolished a banged-up Tennessee squad 49-10 in Knoxville. Texas A&M (6-0, 4-0), on the other hand, has risen in the polls after starting the season unranked.

Despite the Crimson Tide opening a 17-point home favorites, Knight has reason to be excited for the matchup.

He torched Alabama in the 2014 Sugar Bowl, guiding Oklahoma to a shocking win and claiming MVP honors after throwing for 348 yards and four touchdowns. The Sooners entered that game as a 17 1/2-point underdog, so we’ll see if Knight can pull off another massive upset against the Crimson Tide.
