According to KnoxNews.com, a grand jury has indicted former Tennessee linebacker AJ Johnson and current cornerback Michael Williams on two counts each of aggravated rape.

“I will confirm that I received a notification (from the Knox County District Attorney General’s office) that a presentment had been returned against him alleging rape,” said Williams’ attorney, David Eldridge, to KnoxNews.com. “Mr. Williams turned himself in to the Knox County jail and was released on a $40,000 bond.”

Johnson and Williams were immediately suspended in November from the football team. They were accused of rape at Johnson’s residence in November by a female UT student. Williams was also accused of sexual assault by another woman in the same incident.
