An anonymous NFL scout’s analysis on Alvin Kamara was featured in Wednesday’s edition of the Monday Morning Quarterback blog.

Here’s what the scout said of Kamara, who the MMQ included as a player to “keep an eye on”:

“Strong candidate for declaring early [Kamara is a 21-year-old junior]. Physical with second-level burst. Can be special as a returner and contribute in pass game.”

Kamara will be eligible to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft after the season, as many anticipate he’ll do. The redshirt junior has excelled since transferring to Tennessee in 2015, despite splitting the meager share of carries with former running back Jalen Hurd.

Kamara currently has 441 yards and five touchdowns on 74 attempts in 2016. The redshirt junior recorded 128 yards and two touchdowns on 10 attempts during last week’s 49-36 win over Kentucky, his first appearance since experiencing a knee injury against Alabama on Oct. 15.
