Tennessee fans react to Florida clinching the SEC East
Tennessee is out of the running for the SEC East.
Florida clinched the division against LSU, turning out an incredible goal-line stand in the final seconds of the game in Baton Rouge. A Gators loss would have given the Volunteers a chance to win the East with victories against Missouri today and Vanderbilt next Saturday.
The game turned into a roller coaster of emotions for fans of Tennessee, Florida and LSU alike. The Tigers marched 74 yards on their final drive and seemed poised to score before falling short at the goal line.
Naturally, Vols fans were not happy on social media.

We best Florida for the fist time in over a decade yet we still manage to lose the most pathetic division in the SEC #vols

Hate not going to ATL but wasn't looking forward to another Bama thrashing either. Good luck with that, Gators #Vols

Thanks for nothing #LSU what a terrible play call/execution at the goal line. Can't blame them though, we put ourselves here. #Vols

However, there might be one silver lining for Tennessee:
When Florida gets blown out by Bama will 9-3 Vols get the Sugar Bowl bid? I think they might.
