Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt held his preseason press conference Thursday afternoon.

The Vols will officially open up fall camp Thursday before its season opener against Georgia State on August 31.

No major news was unveiled during Pruitt’s press conference, but you can tell, he’s excited for the season.

“Fall camp is the most exciting part of the year. You get an opportunity to take 110 young men and you throw in the coaching staff and everybody that’s involved and you get a chance to create a team,” Pruitt started his press conference. “Nobody knows what that teams going to be. You got to create an identity and there’s lots of things that go into fall camp. It’s one of the few times that there’s not as many restrictions when it comes to time being wth with your players.”
