Well wolfman, Missouri's game against Georgia was no fluke; neither was Hog's win against Ole Miss. I think both teams should've been 8-4 if they played to potential every week. And a two-point game seems about right.

He did say that it's a loss you remember for a lifetime...because it was the last chance as coach of Ole Miss to beat Saban.

I thought it was a good call at first, but then saw the replay and thought yeah Burks kind of tripped on his own. But it evened out when our nose guard was called for holding an eligible receiver. Can't recall that EVER being called in a game before.

Totally agree. Throw the darn ball deep a few times and make the defense stop loading the box. Even if the pass isn't completed you sometimes get a pass-interference call. At worst, it's as good as a deep punt.

Sometimes it's easy to let mouth overrun one's brain when speaking emotionally, but being on-air one should use utmost discretion. My problem with this announcer is this: 1. You don't call any player derogatory names. 2. If the "hits" are late, why are the refs not throwing flags? Why don't you criticize the refs?

Yes and they are getting their starting quarterback back from suspension.

You are right; both games hard to watch (in the first half anyway). It seems the teams that are suppose to win have first game jitters (plus they are not utilizing the majority of their playbook to keep next week's team in the dark). However, I didn't see any first game jitters in Alabama! I think if both Tigers and Hogs players would play to their potential, and not level-down to opponent, we'll be much better.

That chemistry will continue especially if one or two more receivers can become legitimate threats. Step up!

I go hunting in your state. Beautiful areas to see. I remember when Mizzou beat the Hogs 38-7 in the '08 Cotton Bowl. That was totally unexpected and that is when Missouri became a rivalry to me
