USC’s season opener against Alabama just got a little bit tougher, as the Trojans have suspended sophomore defensive back Isaiah Langley.

USC head coach Clay Helton confirmed the suspension to Zach Helfand of the Los Angeles Times. Langley suspension stems from his May arrest on suspicion of trespassing, intoxication and resisting arrest.

Langley did not start in 2015 but did appear in 11 games, he also came to the Trojans after being selected to the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Game. Langley was rated as a four-star recruit and a Top 100 overall prospect by 247Sports coming out of high school.

Alabama and USC kick off the season Sept. 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
