Two Madison, Ala. prospects – four-star OT Kendall Randolph and three-star CB Kyriq McDonald – pledged to the Crimson Tide on Sunday.

They didn’t want to the typical commitment with a tweet containing some team photos and the screenshot of an iPhone Note. The two new Alabama commits decided to partner with AL.com for a dramatic announcement video which can be viewed below:

Randolph is rated the No. 9 prospect from the Yellowhammer State in 247Sports’ composite rankings. The Bob Jones product had offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee. He was primarily recruited by offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin with help from position coach Brent Key.

Kiffin also led the recruiting efforts to land McDonald, ranked the No. 29 in-state prospect. The James Clemens cornerback also had offers from Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

Alabama now has 20 commitments for its 2017 class.
