Rawleigh Williams III, one of the most promising talents on Bret Bielema’s final Arkansas team, had his playing career unfortunately taken away from him due to a career-ending injury. Now it appears his insurance provider is being accused of not paying what it owes him following that unfortunate event.

Coming off a season in which he ran for 1,360 yards and 12 touchdowns, Williams re-injured his spine during Bielema’s final spring in Fayetteville. Luckily, the injury was not as bad as it could have been but the scare was enough for Williams to call an end to his playing days for the Razorbacks.

Following the end of his playing career, Williams is reportedly suing Lloyd’s of London for failing to pay him his $1 million disability insurance policy. Details of the lawsuit come from Tom Murphy of Whole Hog Sports. Wally Hall of the Arkansas Democratic Gazette is also reporting news of the lawsuit.
