On Sunday, former Florida WR Antonio Callaway caught a long touchdown pass that should have given the Cleveland Browns their first victory since 2016.

Instead, the extra point was missed and the Browns once again lost in heart-breaking fashion. This week, they made some moves, trading fellow WR Josh Gordon to the New England Patriots.

On Tuesday, coach Hue Jackson said he expects more from Callaway now that Gordon is gone (via 247Sports):

“Obviously, Callaway needs to play. We are looking forward to him playing. Josh was a starter, there is no question about that, but Callaway was going to play and he has played. This gives him the opportunity to have more swings at it. Hopefully, he will be ready for that role,” Jackson said.

Callaway was only targeted once in Week 1, but had three catches for 81 yards and a score against the Saints on Sunday.

How good can he be this fall? We’re about to find out.
