Florida picked up its second National Signing Day commitment, this one coming from Miami Jackson LB Lacedrick Brunson.

Burnson, a 2-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, was leaning toward FIU, but visited UF last weekend and is now Florida’s 20th pledge in its 2017 class.

The Gators were thin at linebacker last year and lose starters Jarrad Davis and Alex Anzalone along with contributor Daniel McMillian. Florida now has four linebackers in its current pledge class.

With the addition of Brunson and 4-star OG/DT Tedarrell Slaton, Florida is now ranked No. 17 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC.
