Former Florida RB Kelvin Taylor didn’t make the 53-man roster after he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

However, he found a new NFL home on Tuesday, as the Seattle Seahawks signed him to their active roster, according to Pro Football Talk.

The Seahawks play the 49ers in three weeks for their regular-season finale, so signing Taylor may be a strategic move to gain information on San Francisco coach Chip Kelly’s offense.

Taylor will be extra-motivated to get himself ready for the game against the squad that didn’t think he was good enough this summer.
