Class of 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson is turning heads, and not just because he’s the great-grandson of legendary head coach Bear Bryant.

Tyson is a fast-rising prospect who earned his first SEC offer, despite limited experience on his high school varsity team. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound rising junior earned an offer from Kentucky, according to al.com, which is truly perfect.

Prior to becoming a legend at Alabama, Bryant began his SEC head coaching career with the Wildcats. In Bryant’s eight seasons, Kentucky won its first SEC title and many postseason polls declared the Wildcats as national champions in 1950.

Now, over 65 years later, Kentucky is hoping to reunite with the Bryant family.
