Brennan, from Bay St. Louis, Miss., recently expressed excitement about a new offer from Ole Miss.

“You know it’s a huge offer,” he told Rebels247 Friday. “As we know, I’m committed and the biggest thing is we never know what will happen in this recruiting process, so we just have to take it day by day. But always an honor to get an in-state school.”

A quarterback pledge from another SEC state hinting at a possible change in his recruitment likely made some Tigers fans uneasy. Wakulla High (Fla.) alumnus and four-star dual-threat prospect Feleipe Franks was committed to LSU late into last season, but the Sunshine State product ultimately signed with Florida for an early enrollment. Three-star dual-threat quarterback Lindsey Scott filled the signal-caller vacancy in the class left by Franks’ flip.

Judging by the above tweet, it appears the timing of the Bayou Picnic recruiting even could not have been better, as Brennan looks to have enjoyed his visit to Baton Rouge this weekend.
