Of the 53 SEC players selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, 52 of them had signed their rookie contracts heading into Thursday.

The only holdout was former LSU S Jamal Adams, who was picked by the New York Jets at No. 6 overall.

However, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets reached an agreement with the talented defender late Thursday night:

Details of the contract are not available at this time.

Adams has gotten rave reviews during OTAs this summer, so locking him down with his rookie contract is good news for the Jets.

Now, they’ll see what he can do when the summer training camp starts later this month.
