It seems like every week, we get more incredible catches from wide receivers. From one-handed grabs to other amazing displays of athleticism, receivers are getting better at what they do.

Still, every now and then, there’s a play that makes you drop your jaw, a play that makes you want to watch over and over again.

On Friday night, 4-star LSU WR/CB commit Maurice Hampton made one of those plays. As you can see in the video below, Hampton elevates above his defender, grabs the ball, absorbs contact while staying upright and still has the awareness and speed to make it to the end zone:

Sadly, the play got called back due to a penalty elsewhere on the field, but Hampton’s highlight lives on.

According to the 247Sports composite, Hampton is the No. 14 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
