The annual East-West Shrine Game is taking place on Saturday afternoon, and it’s a chance for players to make a good impression on NFL scouts ahead of the draft.

One player trying to improve his draft stock is LSU RB Nick Brossette, who had a solid 2018 season for the Tigers.

As you can see in the video below, he showed off his skills as a receiver, catching a 22-yard touchdown pass from Boise State QB Brett Rypien:

Versatility is the name of the game for running backs these days, so being able to make big plays in the passing game is crucial.

That is a nice catch from Brossette, following a nice route, and it’ll be good for him to have that on film as the draft inches closer.
