Former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott has the Dallas Cowboys off to a 5-1 start, sitting atop the NFC East.

While Prescott’s passing yards (1,486) and passing touchdowns (7) are near the bottom of NFL passing numbers, one stat shows he’s undeniably clutch.

Prescott’s smart decisions and ability to make the throws when they matter most (third down) are two reasons many analysts and commentators believe that the Cowboys should continue to start the former Bulldog even when Tony Romo is ready to play.

Prescott will get the start this Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.
