Back on the court? Michael Porter Jr. reportedly cleared for second pro day
Not long after Michael Porter Jr. canceled his second pro day leading up to the 2018 NBA Draft due to back spasms, the former Mizzou forward has reportedly been cleared to return to the court for the event.
The wildcard of the upcoming draft, NBA teams are likely weighing Porter’s value after he missed nearly his entire freshman season in Columbia after signing as one of the nation’s top high school prospects. If he didn’t have an injury history, he would likely be in serious consideration for the top overall selection in the draft. Still, NBA teams are known to project future talent in the draft and all it takes is one team to have faith in what Porter can potentially bring to a franchise.
News of Porter’s return to the court was first reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
