All summer, Mizzou coaches and players were high on WR Richaud Floyd, an explosive redshirt sophomore.

Though he hasn’t made much of an impact in the passing game this year, he has contributed on special teams, and on Saturday against Idaho, he got his first huge play.

As you can see in the video below, Floyd fields a punt after a big bounce and then sprints and weaves his way through the Idaho defense for an 85-yard touchdown:

Floyd’s tightrope walking at the end of the run made it even better, as he showed great body control to avoid going out of bounds.

It was also Mizzou’s first punt-return touchdown in over a year, with the last one coming early last year against Eastern Michigan.

At the end of the first quarter, the Tigers lead Idaho 34-7, finally giving home fans something to cheer about.
