Four-star 2017 LB Willie Gay announced on Monday morning that he was de-committing from Ole Miss and would be looking at other schools.

Gay, who had been committed to the Rebels for months, posted his decision on Twitter:

Gay, a Starkville native, made headlines when he spurned hometown Mississippi State for rival Ole Miss, but now the Bulldogs have another chance to woo the talented player.

However, according to Gay, Jim Harbaugh and his crew up at Michigan seem to be the new favorites to land the linebacker’s services.

According to 247Sports, Gay is the No. 8 outside linebacker in the class of 2017 and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
