With six SEC teams hosting opponents in Week 8, several highly sought after high school prospects attended the games of schools that are heavily involved in their recruitment.

It’s common for recruits to tweet out photos or videos while on their visits, and SDS decided to take a look at some of the key trips from Week 8.

The recruits this week got to see some thrilling games.

Arkansas and Auburn’s four-overtime fiasco is the kind of game that would get any prospect excited for the next level. The Razorbacks had their 2016 linebacker commit Alexy Jean-Baptiste on campus for the game, and he posed for this picture with an Arkansas fan before the game.

Jean-Baptiste is a three-star Florida native that has great athleticism off the edge as an outside linebacker. He will make an immediate impact in Fayetteville once he gets there.

Alabama and Tennessee also played a nail-biter, and the Crimson Tide had some recruiting targets on hand to watch them come away with the 19-14 win over the Volunteers.

Undeclared 2016 four-star defensive tackle David Marshall took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the game.

Marshall used to be committed to Auburn but re-opened his recruitment over the summer.

Alabama native and undeclared 2016 running back Tre Nation was also in Tuscaloosa for the game. He tweeted out this photo.

In the conference’s third game of the week that was decided by one score, Vanderbilt hosted two of its quarterbacks of the future. Commodores 2016 quarterback commit Deuce Wallace posed for this picture with 2018 quarterback commit Alontae Taylor at Vanderbilt’s 10-3 win over Missouri.

It’s always nice to have recruiting targets come see you beat down an opposing team, too. Sort of like what Mississippi State did to SEC East rival Kentucky by a score of 42-16.

Bulldogs 2017 running back prospect Kylin Hill got the full experience in Starkville. He posted this picture of himself with Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott, and this video of the Bulldogs running onto the field.
