The design of this Purdue trick play was good, but in execution, it was one of the worst trick plays you’ll see all year.

There’s a chance this play could have worked, but it took too long to develop and was quickly diagnosed as a trick play by the Penn State defense.

The Boilermakers should probably take that page out of the playbook and burn it at halftime.
