SEC fans got a taste of it Thursday night, but the Saturday of Week 1 officially marks the grand opening of the 2015 season. That means waking up early, grilling late and watching your favorite team dominate its early-season opponent.

Two SEC teams already were featured in college football’s Thursday opening: South Carolina held off North Carolina at a neutral-site game played in Charlotte, N.C., and Vanderbilt fell to Western Kentucky at home.
