With Alabama throttling Tennessee inside Neyland Stadium over the weekend by a score of 49-10, the matchup is now set between the top-ranked Tide and the undefeated, and rested, Aggies this Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

Following Texas A&M’s own win over Tennessee, any lingering questions of the legitimacy of the Aggies were put to rest before getting a bye. Now the Ags will have the advantage of being fresh and rested for an Alabama team coming off seven consecutive weekends of football and being touted as a three-score favorite to win at home.

If Alabama fails to show up with its A game, look for Texas A&M to leave this weekend as the clear front runner to capture the SEC title heading into November.
