Former Tennessee QB Quinten Dormady announces transfer to high-scoring AAC squad
The Tennessee Volunteers lost QB Quinten Dormady to transfer this offseason, and on Tuesday night, he announced where he’d play this fall.
Dormady has graduated from Tennessee, so he’ll be immediately eligible to play this fall and could contribute immediately for his new team.
As you can see in the tweet below, Dormady announced he’d return to his home state and play for the Houston Cougars in 2018:

Dormady appeared in six games for the Vols in 2017 before getting injured and losing his starting job to Jarrett Guarantano. He completed 76 of his 137 passes for 925 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions.
Former Houston (and Texas A&M) QB Kyle Allen declared for the NFL Draft this year — a confusing decision, but one that has been made — so Dormady will likely compete for the starting job.
