The good news keeps rolling in for Tennessee coach Butch Jones and the Volunteers.

“Orange Carpet Day,” a recruiting event for Tennessee, continues netting football commitments.

The day started with three-star targets Tre Lawson and Princeton Fant making their decisions official, followed quickly by several other recruits.

Alontae Taylor, an athlete from the 2018 recruiting class, announced his decision on Twitter:

So did 2017 three-star defensive end LaTrell Bumphus:

Next up was 2017 three-star safety Theo Jackson:

Then came news of 2017 three-star OT Jordan Tucker’s commitment:

Three-star RB Trey Coleman of the 2017 class then wanted to ensure he didn’t get left out in all the excitement:

That makes six players in the 2017 class and one 2018 athlete who have committed to Tennessee today.

With seven commitments already, it’s safe to say “Orange Carpet Day” has been a huge success for the Volunteers. And it’s not over yet.
