Former Georgia WR Malcolm Mitchell appears to have New England reporters buzzing after his impressive showing in the beginning of Patriots training camp.

Mitchell’s work ethic is likely impressing his coaches, as demonstrated in this tidbit from his post-practice media availability:

The former Bulldogs wideout was drafted in the fourth round. The Patriots are known for making excellent use of their later-round picks, a sign that the front office had big plans for Mitchell. At UGA, Mitchell capped off his career with 58 catches for 865 yards and five touchdowns in his senior season.

Mitchell will be getting acquainted with two quarterbacks this offseason, as New England starter Tom Brady is suspended for the first four games of the season for his role in Deflategate.
