Here is a look at some of the SEC’s top performing position units in Week 5:

QUARTERBACKS — Florida: Whether Jim McElwain agrees he’s “officially” the starting quarerback or not, freshman Will Grier has won the hearts of Gators fans during the last two weeks. And no SEC quarterback was sharper against tougher competition than Grier, who completed 24-of-29 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns during a 38-10 rout of No. 3 Ole Miss on Saturday.

RUNNING BACKS LSU: This is a group evaluation, but it is hard to seriously consider any group but the one containing Leonard Fournette in recent weeks. The sophomore surpassed the 200-yard rushing mark for the third consecutive week. His 233 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 26 carries were the third-highest individual total in FBS during Week 5. This week he had help against a porous Eastern Michigan defense, with Darrel Williams chipping in 89 yards on 11 carries as the Tigers amassed 399 yards on the ground in a 44-22 win.

WIDE RECEIVERSTexas A&M: You can make a case for this group on almost any given Saturday, and it’s my argument that they were again the best WR unit in the SEC in Week 5. Josh Reynolds led the way with seven catches for 141 yards in a win against Mississippi State, while freshman sensation Christian Kirk turned in another solid performance with a team-high eight catches for 77 yards. Ricky Seals-Jones hauled in five passes for 34 yards and a touchdown before a second-quarter targeting ejection cut his day short, and Damion Ratley had 45 yards receiving and a touchdown.

OFFENSIVE LINEArkansasThe Razorbacks have settled back into being a nasty offensive front in recent weeks, and the results are evident in the time of possession Arkansas has enjoyed. In fact, it held the ball for nearly 22 of the 30 minutes in the second half of a 24-20 win at Tennessee. The most telling stats: 154 rushing yards for Alex Collins, 100 rushing yards for Rawleigh Williams III and zero sacks allowed on QB Brandon Allen.

DEFENSIVE LINE Florida: Long considered one of the best defensive fronts in the nation, the Gators defensive linemen showed just how dominant they can be in a big win against Ole Miss on Saturday. Florida held the Rebels to just 69 yards rushing on 33 attempts, and did not allow more than 23 yards from either of the Rebels’ primary running backs. And this group had plenty of pressure on Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly as well, contributing to both the defense’s four sacks and 11 tackles for loss in the 38-10 win.

LINEBACKERSMissouri: The league’s best defense, by both yardage allowed and points allowed, received another solid performance from perhaps the league’s most dynamic linebacking duo during a 24-10 win against South Carolina. Michael Scherer led the Tigers with nine tackles (one for loss), and Kentrell Brothers had seven of his own, including a share of a sack.

DEFENSIVE BACKSAlabama: The credit for stopping Georgia’s offense during a 38-10 win on Saturday really goes to the entire Alabama defense, but this is the perfect opportunity to give some love to a Crimson Tide secondary that is usually quick to draw criticism. Bulldogs quarterbacks completed just 11 of 31 pass attempts, with Alabama intercepting three passes in the process. Eddie Jackson, Marlon Humphrey and Ronnie Harrison each intercepted a pass, while Minkah Fitzpatrick collected a sack and blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown.
