The Elite 11 competition is intended for the country’s best high school quarterbacks, taking place every year. This year’s competition, for the class of 2017, is being held from June 3-5 in Los Angeles. After Day 1, the list reads as follows:

At the top, Davis Mills is 247sports.com’s No. 7-ranked overall quarterback recruit and No. 4-ranked pro style signal-caller. Mills has committed to Stanford.

At No. 4 is Tate Martell, who is the No. 1-ranked dual threat quarterback and No. 3 overall. Martell is currently undecided, and he decommitted from Texas A&M earlier this year.

Ahead of Martell though, at No. 3 on Elite 11’s current list, is Jack Sears – 247sports’ No. 14-ranked pro style quarterback. Sears is further down on 247sports’ list, but is also uncommitted, listing his interest in Tennessee as warm.

Georgia’s commit, Jake Fromm, is No. 6 on the Elite 11 list, but is much higher on 247sports’ list, clocking in as the No. 3-ranked pro style quarterback and No. 4 overall.

Sitting at last place on Elite 11’s list after Day 1 is Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa ranks as 247sports’ No. 2-ranked dual threat quarterback and the No. 5-ranked recruit at his position overall.

The No. 1 quarterback according to 247sports.com is Dylan McCaffrey. He’s on Elite 11’s current list at No. 8 and committed to Michigan.

Day 2 of the competition is taking place today, and Bleacher Report posted a video on Twitter showing exactly what each of the boys are up to on this fine, Saturday afternoon.
