Several true freshmen continue to make an impact this season around the SEC. Here’s a look at some of the biggest contributions from the past week:

The defensive back from New Jersey had 2 interceptions in the Crimson Tide’s win at Texas A&M and ran them both back for touchdowns. He also had 2 tackles. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley led Alabama with 7 catches for 52 yards.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks had a bye week.

Auburn: Running back Kerryon Johnson continues to be a threat both rushing and catching the ball out of the backfield. He had 36 yards on 9 carries including a touchdown in Auburn’s narrow win at Kentucky. He also had 1 catch for 14 yards.

Florida: Antonio Callaway had a huge game with 3 catches for 100 yards, but Florida lost for the first time this season at LSU. He also had a 72-yard punt return for a touchdown. Running back Jordan Scarlett rushed 1 time for 11 yards.

Missouri: Quarterback Drew Lock started again but struggled a bit, completing just 11 of 26 passes for 143 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He was also sacked 4 times. Punter Corey Fatony punted 7 times for an average of 45.7 yards with a long of 59 and 1 inside the 20.

South Carolina: The Gamecocks didn’t get a significant contribution from true freshmen in their 19-10 victory against Vanderbilt.

Tennessee: The Volunteers had a bye week.

He also added 111 return yards on kickoffs and punts, including a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown. Backup quarterback Kyler Murray got some playing time as starter Kyle Allen struggled, completing 2 of 4 passes for 21 yards with an interception.
