This is the last week of the regular season! We’re just saying what’s on our minds once again. Here’s 50 things we’re wondering entering Week 13. Enjoy.

  1. Is there anything better than rivalry week?
  2. How incredible is it that there are 10 rivalry games with playoff implications?
  3. Is it crazy to believe that Auburn (vs. Alabama), Florida (vs. Florida State) or South Carolina (vs. Clemson) will somehow find a way to beat a rival at home?
  4. How far has Auburn’s defense, notably its tackling, come along since Week 3 against LSU? We’re about to find out with Derrick Henry coming to town.
  5. Does Henry extend his touchdown streak to 17 games this week?
  6. How likely is it that Kelvin Taylor will be the best back on the field when the Gators face Dalvin Cook and the Seminoles? It’s a tough proposition, but it’s one that may need to happen if Florida wants to keep its playoff hopes alive.
  7. Can Iowa stay unbeaten while visiting a Nebraska team that’s won back-to-back games for the first time this season, including a home win over previously unbeaten Michigan State?
  8. Which of the top two passing offenses in the SEC will shine in the Egg Bowl?
  9. With all the attention on the high-scoring offenses, will the team’s underrated defenses make the biggest plays?
  10. Wasn’t it just a little over a month ago that LSU beat Florida and people were talking about Les Miles being one of the best coaches in the country? Perception changes quickly in the SEC.
  11. Will former LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis help put the nail in Miles’ coffin in Death Valley from the Texas A&M sidelines? That is, unless the decision has already been made.
  12. Leonard Fournette has gotten better in each of the two games since his poor performance against Alabama. Does he explode this week against the Aggies to cap his amazing regular season?
  13. Will the majority of the SEC East’s teams fail to be bowl-eligible? If Kentucky and Missouri fail to win this weekend, four of the seven teams will fall short of six wins.
  14. Whose freshman QB will perform better: Kentucky’s Drew Barker or Missouri’s Drew Lock?
  15. What will prevail in the Battle Line rivalry on Friday: Arkansas’ high-octane offense or Missouri’s stingy defense?
  16. Will the noon ET kickoff times affect any early games such as Georgia-Georgia Tech, Louisville-Kentucky or Clemson-South Carolina?
  17. Can Vanderbilt snap in-state rival Tennessee’s four-game win streak and put a damper on the Vols’ hopes of finishing the season strong?
  18. How crazy will it be if South Carolina finishes the season with four wins, yet two of them came against the teams playing in the ACC Championship Game? (Clemson and North Carolina have already clinched their spots in the title game).
  19. After its struggles against Michigan State’s defense, how will Ohio State fare against a Michigan defense that ranks 2nd only to Boston College among FBS teams in total defense (263.1)?
  20. Will Ezekiel Elliott get fed in this game after only getting 12 carries against the Spartans and criticizing the team’s play-calling afterwards?
  21. Is there any potential playoff team more criticized than Iowa? Oh wait, Florida.
  22. Is there any player who’s been through more ups and downs in his career than fifth-year senior Brandon Allen at Arkansas?
  23. How do you quantify the fact that Arkansas has scored 50 or more points in four of the last five games? Its 251 points over the last five games is 3 points more than the Razorbacks scored in Bret Bielema’s first season in Fayetteville.
  24. Is it a little strange that Missouri LB Kentrell Brothers and Texas A&M punter Drew Kaser weren’t announced as finalists for college football awards?
  25. Doesn’t it seem like Clemson QB Deshaun Watson has flown about as under the radar as you can for a quarterback playing for a team that’s been No. 1 for several weeks this season?
  26. How excited must Clemson fans be to have that true sophomore for another season?
  27. How tense will the viewing party be for the Penn State-Michigan State game be for whoever wins the Ohio State-Michigan game?
  28. Can Pharoh Cooper make an impact against a pass defense that ranks 3rd in the FBS in passing yards allowed per game (155.4)?
  29. Who will win the title of best team in Florida when the Gators and Seminoles hook up in Gainesville on Saturday? On Thanksgiving, Central Florida proved that it’s the worst team in the state by finishing 0-12, just the third winless season in school history.
  30. Who’s the only other winless team in the FBS? That would be Kansas, and its last shot to notch a win is on Saturday against rival Kansas State. The Jayhawks have lost every game by double digits this season with the exception of a 3-point loss to San Jose State in the season-opener, and a 6-point loss to TCU just two weeks ago.
  31. How many words did Chad Kelly need to describe this week’s Egg Bowl? Just five. “We’re good, and they’re good.”
  32. Everyone thinks ESPN has SEC bias. Well, ESPN’s Football Power Index sure doesn’t, which has Oklahoma and Baylor ranked as the top two teams in the country, respectively. In fact, TCU at 5th gives the Big 12 three of the top five teams.
  33. Anyone else a little surprised that there weren’t more Jameis Winston jokes used after Jim McElwain’s “dead fish” analogy? I know crabs are crustaceans and not fish, but still. Step it up, people.
  34. Will Laquon Treadwell catch a touchdown in a seventh straight game this week against Mississippi State? The Bulldogs allowed Arkansas to throw 7 TD passes last Saturday.
  35. Is Baylor trying to become the second straight school to win a national title with a third-string quarterback? Sophomore Chris Johnson will likely get the start on Saturday against TCU in place of the injured Jarrett Stidham.
  36. Is Georgia ready for Georgia Tech’s option? The Bulldogs did a decent job against Georgia Southern, holding the top-ranked rushing offense in the country to 233 despite the Eagles averaging about 364 rushing yards on the season. The Yellow Jackets come in with the 7th-best rushing attack in the country with 261.8 yards per game.
  37. How will the rumors surrounding Dan Mullen possibly leaving Starkville affect the team in this week’s big game against Ole Miss?
  38. If Jeremy Johnson starts, can he build off his 4-touchdown performance against Idaho when the Tigers host the Tide? That won’t be easy against an Alabama defense that has only allowed 4 total TDs in the last 13 quarters.
  39. Will Kentucky look to stick with the running game this week against Louisville after netting 416 yards last week against Charlotte? That was the Wildcats’ 4th-highest output in a single game in school history.
  40. Will Christian Kirk make an impact this week in the punt return game against LSU? Kirk easily leads the FBS with his average of 24.4 yards per return, while LSU is 127th out of 128 FBS teams by allowing 18.9 yards per return.
  41. Likewise, can Evan Berry make an impact this week in the kick return game against Missouri? Berry easily leads the FBS with his average of 39.6 yards per kick return, while Mizzou is 125th in the FBS by allowing 27 yards per return.
  42. Kyle Allen is starting at QB for Texas A&M this week against LSU. Will he last the whole game against the Tigers?
  43. Can the SEC East redeem itself to some degree this week? It certainly has a chance with South Carolina facing Clemson, Florida taking on Florida State, Missouri traveling to Arkansas and Kentucky squaring off with Louisville.
  44. The Seminoles are favored by 2.5 points against the Gators. I was just curious so I quickly looked into this. You want to know the last time a game between these teams was decided by a field goal or less? It was 1997 in a 32-29 win for Florida. That was the season after the Gators beat the ‘Noles for their first national title.
  45. Would “Clemsoning” officially be added to the English dictionary with a loss this week in Columbia?
  46. Anyone care for some Group of 5 action? The highest-ranked team in the classification, No. 15 Navy, visits Houston in a game that will decide who hosts the AAC title game.
  47. Whether it’s a good move or bad move, doesn’t it seem inevitable that we’re headed for an eight-team playoff pretty soon? The top eight teams in the current CFP rankings either have one loss or they’re unbeaten.
  48. How impressive does Notre Dame need to be in its final regular season game against Stanford? The Irish dropped from No. 4 to No. 6 in the playoff rankings last week. This week, they have to deal with Christian McCaffrey, who’s 4th in the FBS in rushing yards per game (140.6).
  49. Considering turnovers cost the Crimson Tide its only loss of the season, can Alabama continue to take care of the ball against Auburn like it has recently? The Tide have only committed four turnovers over the last five games after giving it away 12 times in the first six games.
  50. Did anyone save some room for SEC football this Thanksgiving?
