Only in college football can you get bonuses for both winning and losing.

Even though Clemson lost in the national championship game, the school paid $800,000 to Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney for making it to the game. That certainly takes away the sting of a big loss. Clemson’s total post-season bonuses rounded out at about $1.9 million for the ACC Championship and two playoff games.

However, the Crimson Tide brought approximately $2.3 million for winning all three of its post-season games.

Oddly enough, Tide head coach Nick Saban’s bonus was almost $300,000 less than that of Swinney’s.

Aside from Saban, defensive coordinator Kirby Smart and offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin came away as the biggest winners on the coaching staff. No surprise there.

The remainder of the coaching staff took home approximately $1.7 million.

And the Tide didn’t forget the little guys. According to CBSSports.com, bonuses went to upwards of 60 employees in the athletic department, ranging from trainers and nutritionists to IT technicians and media relations representatives to the athletic director and his assistants.

The players — at least 125 of them — were eligible to receive up to $550 for each of the bowl games, but it is unclear how much they were paid. The players were also eligible to receive travel compensation for the bowl games.

Here’s a look at how the Tide’s post-season payout breaks down among the big dogs.

Head Coach Nick Saban: $525,000

Defensive Coordinator Kirby Smart: $310,000

Offensive Coordinator Lane Kiffin: $149,600

Athletic Director Bill Battle: $50,000
