South Carolina didn’t make the cut to four teams, but Abram’s final decision will be an SEC school no matter who he chooses. After starting four games for the Bulldogs as a freshman in 2015, Abram abruptly transferred to Jones County Community College, which is about an hour away from his hometown of Columbia, Mississippi.
Abram didn’t travel to Georgia’s 24-17 win against Penn State in the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl, which then-interim coach Bryan McClendon attributed to “personal issues.” The safety had 25 tackles as a freshman.
